Kiwanis club members believe in service. We care about children. We're interested in the community around us—because the community matters to us.

We're people like you. Friends. Neighbors. Volunteers who want to make a difference. And we love to see the difference we make when we work together.

Kiwanis Kommunity Day

The Lebanon Kiwanis Club's first Kiwanis Kommunity Day at Lebanon Memorial Park was a great success! Thanks to our community partners and all those who attended the event.

Locally we sponsor youth-related projects including:

Lebanon Kiwanis Youth Leadership Academy - Ten sophomores from each of the three school corporations in Boone County attend a six month leadership training hosted by the Lebanon, Zionsville & Thorntown clubs.  Students attend monthly sessions to learn about the community, build leadership skills and make new friends!   This program has been expanded to include a service learning component as the students move up through the ranks of high school.  Philanthropy is the focus for the junior and senior classes and they are busy working on community service projects.

Boone County Backpack United-  The Lebanon Kiwanis Club is a sponsor of the United Way's Boone County Backpack United and helped to distribute over 800 back packs filled with school supplies to Boone County kids in 2017!

The annual "Fishing Derby" - every June we sponsor a free day of fishing for kids ages 5-15 at a local pond in Lebanon.  Each child receives a bucket of fishing supplies and various prizes are awarded in all ages groups.
Highway Clean-Up - Members of the Kiwanis Club, Key Club and Builders Club spend time together cleaning a portion of State Road 32 West.

Annual Scholarships - $2,000 in scholarships awarded to LHS graduates pursuing a college degree or vocational training.
